Today is 30th December and I'm still on my 2 week holidays. Gabby spent most of her time in front of PC surfing the Playhouse Disney Channel, hubby went to jam with his band. I watched the movie at HBO before I realized that the time was already 6:00 p.m. I rushed to cook the rice and prepared white pomfret with mango sauce. <- click for recipe. Voila!!

Everyone knows that December is the season of 'buah Engkalak'....

So fat and juicy!! When it's dipped in Soy Sauce the taste is heavenly creamier!!

Hehe.. today is a normal boring day but hubby knows how to heaten up the ambience. He brought me to Satok to pick some Durians. We're so crazy about durians!! He spent RM70.00 tonight just for Durians. Hmmm.... and now I smell like Durian, mind to say, my breathe lingered in Durian's aroma.

Need to go to bed now, my parents-in-law are going to the Polyclinic tomorrow and hubby is working, too. We have planned to BBQ tomorrow night and still thinking for the menu I am now.

Hello readers! Woke up quite 'early' today at 8:00 a.m. Had a cuppa whilst reading the newspaper and kissed Gabby good morning. Checked the fridge and could only found pork bones. Suddenly I saw some eggs and that's it! Eggs curry for lunch. I peeled some potatoes to go with it and boiled the eggs then fried them.

The boiled then fried eggs.

... 40 minutes after and this is how it looks like. While I was cooking in the kitchen I heard a motorbike honking outside. Could it be the 'abang' POSLAJU??. I ran to check. YES!!!! He handed me a parcel and an envelope. Guess who sent me those?

Yes, the first parcel from I won the consolation prize during the Father's Day Contest in May I guess. Thanks to you guys! I love them all.

.. The gifts. L size T-Shirt, car sticker and leaflets. Eh? Got a business card from the Business Development Manager too. A zillion thanks!

The second envelope. I received a beautiful Christmas card from far far away land in Europe.

It's from Lee & Avang!! Muah Muahsss to you guys. How sweet!

Went to buy Gabby's stuff. Aiyaaakk!! It was very hard to find her size, I tell you. Me and hubby had to travel from 7th Mile to Tabuan Jaya and finally we found her size at MJC, Batu Kawa. Phewww!! Shoes, check! Pinafores, check! Stationeries, check! Now it's time to visit my parents and hubby bought some Sio-Bees with Bak Pau for them.

As usual Mom will get herself busy preparing things for us to eat, even though I told her we just had BBQ Chicken Rice. But I would say, who could resist Mom's cooking right?

All time favourite - Kuih Makmur. I love these since I was small. The process of making these is very simple.

Irresistibly Sio Bee! Best dipped in Sweet Chilli Sauce.

Mom cooked this! Extra chilli boh to give extra spicyness.

Gabby is checking Grandma's new Iban's CD. Can you see my Mom's CD compilations? She is always updated with the new songs. Me??? I'm not so fond of Iban songs, but I still find them enjoyable yet sometimes funny to listen to.

That's for today's wrap-up. I feel bloated now....

Yup. I can't help myself laughing hysterically today when my Mom told me that my two brothers, fighting outside the house, precisely at the car port! Didn't have clear explaination of the causes. My Mom didn't manage to cool them down and as a result my Dad's car door was dented. What an impact!! My Dad will surely become as fury as a hungry dragon after this. For sure, I know how my father is.... You guys are doomed!! Doomed!!

I texted Jen to ask whether our claims have been banked in. She's got hers already and spent!! Mine??? Nope. Nothing. Yes, you hear that.. I went to Maybank to check my account's balance and still unchanged. :(

Hubby came home with a cheerful face. He's got the confirmation letter and increament, too. Good performance this year, huh? Hiks! Muwahhhsssss to you, dear. Cooked him his favourite meat with soy sauce, thick and sweet!!

Went to the bank to check my account. Hubby withdrew his as today is their payday. Eh-eh... my claims 'masuk' already. Yippieee!! Enough to cover my expenses and the balance to buy more schooling stuff for Gabby tomorrow. I don't want to bother hubby. He sacrificed too much this month.

Had our first attempt to pay a visit to the newly opened Boulevard Mall. Yikes!! All crowded with peeps and the time already shown 9:30 p.m.. Almost closed down, but it was OK. We wasted our time looking for underground car park, but as I said, it was too late even though there were lots of spaces available.

Me: Stupid Kuchingites..hate them!! (Laugh like crazy)

Hubby: Why??

Me: For crowding this place like a swarm of hungry brainless bees???

Hubby: Afterall, it is ONLY A MALL, OK?

Me: Just a mall u said?? WTF! We are ladies, Hello??? I don't like being left behind. I can't bear when one day people will say this to my ears -- ''been there, done that!" Huh!! (What a DIVA-sound like statement..)

Hubby: Then wait for your turn to roam The Spring next month!!

Me: Aaah.. shut up and lets go home, I have a blog to update...

Hubby: That's my girl. **Smiled.

Ya. Went home after that and watched 'Date Movie' with Gabby. Kissed her good nite and here I am, with my lovely PC and some calculations to do.

Boulevard... I will conquer you tomorrow... Beware!

Lately, I've been trying to discipline myself not to take junkies in between meals. I also eat on 3 square meals everyday to prevent over binging. Therefore, I found my tummy easily windy and gassy sometimes and worse than that, I will run to toilet to shortly after taking food. Imagine 2.0 c.c. car converted to 1.3 c.c. engine capacity that is what happening to my tummy now.

I didn't have breakfast today for waking up late and catching up on YM with colleagues. So I only had my lunch - a plate of rice with pork bones soup at 1:15 p.m. 5 minutes after that I rushed to toilet to ehem-ehem, you know that. At 5:00 p.m. I had a couple of banana fritters and a cup of coffee. By 7:30 p.m. I felt so bloody hungry but I still could handle it. We went to 7th Mile to buy Gabby's school bag, pencil case and a pair of school uniform. Then we went to Pizza Hut to eat. It was already 8:30 p.m.

After paying the bill, I begged hubby to drive me home in rush!! He asked me why so I told him that it was an emergency case!! I wanna go to the toilet, hurry up!!!

It was such a relief to arrive safely at home and I ran upstairs. Aaaahhhhh....

What a cheesy-gassy-windy-easy feeling few minutes after that.... Yucks!

Bear in mind, next time if we go outing, there's sure no bloody meals to enter my tummy... really ruin my shopping mood.

I read these on the net. Am I one of them, NOW? I have nothing to do since my holiday, hubby is working and he's not taking leave. At least I can get out of this room and this house for a short while. I will do the house chores quickly including my favorite hobby, cooking. Surf like there is no tomorrow for me. I manage to control my appetite (I don't have time to focus on food) this week at least but I guess I am facing a bigger problem. Yes, I stay up late every night to surf the internet and woke up early the next morning to surf more and more. Hmmm.. I keep doing this everyday, the fatter chance for me to loose my weight. LOL

[Click on the thumbails to read more...]

Nah, see?? Out of seven symptoms, all of them are correct about me. So what should I do then??

Oooi!! I am so boring watching TV, cooking, washing, folding laundry, baking, sweeping, sleeping on the couch etc etc etc!! We will see how-lah this end of the year, whether I can reduce my time surfing the net. After all, this is my true chance to surf satisfactorily. My speed at home is 100 Mbps and office is something like 54 Mbps. Very slow, but will never affect my performance for it's slow connection. No downloading. No Blog updates. No Yahoo Messenger. It's all about work.

But as I have mentioned before, I am just boring. That's how I kill my time, man... without spending a cent! [whadda stupid excuses]

p/s: Why so sudden I feel goosebumps on my neck. It's already 3:04 a.m. now. Must go to sleep. NOW! Enough-lah oiiiii...

Left home to pick up my pay sheet this morning at 9:00 a.m. Before leaving, Gabby knocked my bedroom's door and asked permission to enter. I let her switch on my PC and surfed the net. Looking at her I smiled at myself. She really copycats my style whilst surfing. First, she will click Mozilla Firefox, then type anything in the Google's Search Engine (mostly Playhouse Disney's stuff) then press ENTER. Isn't that cool? Kissed her goodbye and off to my office.

Came back around 12:00 p.m. and had my cuppa before going to Sen Cheong to purchase the new washing machine. The moment I arrived at home; Gabby was still surfing the net, can you believe that? She skipped her lunch and finally I entered my room and scolded her. "It's 2:00 p.m. and you have been surfing since morning, girl. You want Mama to turn everything off??" She said Sorry politely and ran downstairs to watch Rolie Polie Olie. The old PC is given to her but she prefers to use ours as we have Internet connection. More COOL than hers.

Looking back to the history, the old PC was bought way back in 2000 during my third trimester. I was surfing the net and chat on the MIRC like crazy. Sometimes I will play songs and put the headphone to my big tummy so that my baby (Gabriella) could hear the songs, too. Sometimes, I read books and magazines and bought lot of them monthly.

Hubby told me whatever I did during my pregnancy, our Gabby will surely imitate because she has been going through the orientation for few months before seeing this world.

The old PC. Can you see the old torn mouse pad? LOL. Pity her. I will buy her new one to replace it. We relocate the PC in her playroom. She will play and read in this room during the school holiday. I didn't teach her some of the operations, she just observes me doing that stuff without asking me how. Can you see the desktop background? She drew a picture of her dream home and save it is JPEG. Later of the day, she will use the pic as her PC background. So cute.

Recently, when I scrolled her PC, I found some files with the name given "My Blog". It was done by using Microsoft Word. OMG!! She has started to blog just like me. Hahaha... Unfortunately she couldn't post it. Maybe I will help her to do so someday.

Some of her favourite websites are Playhouse Disney Channel which offers games and activities like coloring, story reading etc. The other one is Noddy in Toyland and Youtube. In Youtube she normally searches for Barbie's videos and download them using Real Player Beta which I have installed earlier. Gosh! She's very good at her age, too good.

Suddenly, I felt guilty for scolding her.....

We didn't have open house today but we visited few houses, boleh? Hiks! First, went to my father's house, tried my best to battle my cravings on lemang, daging masak hitam, chicken curry and cookies. My mom fried the best mini popiah this year and God, they are all crunchiezz. My sister, Cynthia's crib was the next. She cooked duck in 5-spice!! I am not fond of duck but it was made tailored to my liking. Damn, it was duckylicious. Aunty Mag called us up alas! another house to go. I just had a glass of soda and few pieces of Marble Cheese Cake. Burrppz!! Earlier, Dr. Johnny did call me to invite me over to his house and we finally made the final visit to his crib. Yeah, he served us the Hot & Spicy KFC can u believe that????? OMGWTF!!! I loiiiiikeeeee.... (Opppss.. ya I know, I have to control myself..heheehhheh). Thanks to my sis, parents, aunty and uncle and Dr. Johnny and family for the lovely food.. Wish I could have more of those. Haha!!

Aaaaahh.. the day has come to reveal the gifts. Thanks to hubby. I love you more this year obviously hahahahaha....

They all might cheap in price but worth more than scatter of diamonds.....

Oh ya!! I went to buy more ornaments for the tree, and it turned out so lovely!! **Happy finally!!

Nahhh... muakaakkaa....!!

Dear loved ones,
As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated. During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.

It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me. As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago. At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration. Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.

I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts. But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited. I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation. The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face .... and I wanted to be with them and share their table.

In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner. They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time. To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: "Santa Claus, Santa Claus" .. as if the party were in his honor!

12 Midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and ... do you know ... no one hugged me. Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.

What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one? I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse. People only remember to eat and drink, the gifts, the parties and nobody remembers me. I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life. I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you. Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.

I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party.

I'm still making the final arrangements. Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book. Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party. Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside.

Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.

See you soon.
I Love you!

P.S. Please share this message with your loved ones, before Christmas

Believe me, this is only in my imagination. The table set for Christmas Dinner I look forward to.

Woke up at 4:30 a.m. this morning to cook fried rice for hubby. He's going to Sri Aman to deliver orders from the customers. Went there with his colleague, John. We had breakfast together before waving him goodbye. Thought to ask him out to the newly opened Boulevard Mall but his unavailable. :( . I continued to surf the internet as last night the connection was sucks. We could not surf the net maybe due to many night surfers roaming the web? Aiiyaaak!! I was pissed off last night. This morning I grabbed the chance to continue from 5:30 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. Am I addicted?

Anyway, feel so lazy today. Been thinking to cook something extra special tonight. I dunno whether my FIL is going to the mass whether tonite or tomorrow morning. We don't have special turkey here but I will something special, Christmas Eve Dinner, Malaysian style. Oh ya, this year no open house is held because we are celebrating at my parents' house in KS. Will be visiting hubby's colleagues and relatives too. Hubby called at 8:30 a.m., telling me that he's reached Lachau's town and asked whether I want something. "Ooopss.. anything but not Durians OK?" DUH. ^_^ Gabby woke up and looking for me, "Mama..Mama..where are you Mama???" Thought that she's needing me for milk or something else. "So Mama where are we going today?" Aaalamaakkk!! She wanted to go out and shopping. Told her that we don't have transport, Papa is travelling. Luckily she's understood on the situation. Unlike other kids, they prolly have rolled on the floor crying hysterically. With Gabby when you say NO you have to mean it like popping your eyes or making an angry face, don't worry. She's easily 'threatened up'. Hmmphhh...

"If rosak then how are we gonna wash the pile up clothes?" says Baby Kojack. (illustration only)

ur washing machine is in trouble. It serves us for more than 7 years, so I guess it's time to bid it farewell. It's about time to get a new and 'lihai' one. Can't imagine myself doing the laundry manually with this Super-Extra-Kilograms. :p For lunch, I just made Vegetables Soup with Whole kernel corns. Was wondering what to cook for tonight eh? Nothing, we just had chicken curry with vegetables soup. OK readers, I have to go to bed early tonight.. tomorrow is going to attend the Christmas mass with Gabby! Can't wait. Merry Christmas and have a good night sleep everyone.

Some sizzling pictures of Stephen Chow...

Got arms?

Auuuuwww.. isn't he so cute and adorable?

Through the journey of the Chinese Odyssey, he became a famous chef and known as God of Cookery. He heard about David Beckham's fame and his prestigious skills in football, Stephen Chow wanted to be like him so he joined EPL. Sir Alex Ferguson rejected him for his 'wannabe' attitute, so in frustration he formed his own game and rules, namely the Shaolin Soccer's game. I tell you it is not easy to play soccer when you're bad tempered, lack of experience and flooded with Red Cards all the season. Soccer fans laughed at him, like he is somewhat a King of Comedy so in frustration he learnt the ancient martial arts and tried his luck as a Kung Fu Hustle. Learning Kung Fu didn't promise him a brighter future, in fact he turned into a beggar and roams the junk yard to search for food to raise his child until one fateful night, he encountered a funny-yet-cute UFO in CJ7. The rest of his luck we would just let you to be surprised this year!! Stephen Chow is a man who's full of surprises and fun. He never runs out of crazy idea, you don't believe me-meh? Behold this trailer and you will agree with me!!

Hou Yieh Hou Yieh Tai Ko!!! Thumbs up for you!

Don't miss to watch CJ7 at your nearby cinema!!

Christmas is incomplete without a Christmas tree. I have some pictures of Christmas tree taken from my friends' blogs. Here are some pics of gorgeously decorated trees.
Cat Cat's tree. (Annabel and Emma giving a striking 'tongkat dagu' pose here. LOL)
DJ's girl, Shania is jumping in excitement in front of the tallest tree decorated by CELCOM.

Auuuwww... isn't she lovely? Lee's stepdaughter, showing off her tonnes of gifts.

We too, own a Christmas tree. It's plasticly fake, and withered. The ornaments are easily found at local '100% Discount Store' giving it a cheapish style. We are proudly presenting, our Christmas tree!!

Ayoyo ammaaaa... I completely forgot to show off the blue lights. RM9.90 from One Stop Discount Store, MJC Batu Kawa.

My favourite ornament. A silver angel or cupid. This costs only for RM1.00 oooiii...

Nah..see? Don't you envy our slim less-fertilized Christmas tree? Christmas tree the Kings' style! Very cheap and undefined. Hahahahhhah!!

Donut, doughnut, donat or call it anyway you like it is one of my favorite pastries. l used Kak Liza's recipe to make this lovely donut. Simplicity is the reason why I'm dying to go for a try, making them. I started to proof the dough right after lunch and by 4:00 p.m., I fried my first donuts. Blame it either on me or the pan, the overheat almost burnt my donuts. I don't have a donut cutter so I used plastic cup to press and for the middle hole, I used my piping device. Aahh..the hole is way too big! My donuts are definitely ugly! **Sad.

Looks like 'Kuih Keria' to me. LOL. Despite the ugly looking, they still taste good. Ya, it's true. They are so fluffy and soft. Thanks to hubby who helped to blend the granules sugar.

As what has been written on my Twitter box, today is the last day working in the year of 2007. I will be doing my Kung Fu again in the office on 7th January next year. Sounds like taking leave for a year, huh? Once workaholic is always workaholic! I brought home today some of my 'homeworks' just to keep me update.

3 more days to Christmas. I don't feel like celebrating it. Maybe the mood hasn't come. We haven't settled the tree yet. We haven't bought Gabby's gift, too. Don't talk about the goodies. I am not so in the mood now. (Please..please mood..come to momma...) After taking my bath, I sat in front of the PC and surf the Youtube site. What did I do was surfing for Christmas videos. Yup. I started with "What I want for Christmas is You"...awwwwwww.. isn't that song lovely? It touched my heart, after hearing it all over again.. I felt like.. crying. To break my heart more, I read Pat's Asiana blog and she was telling her problems. Feel like hugging her right now... I can feel her sadness. I shouldn't write this but what more to say, there are other things more important than Christmas, are u with me Pat?

Perhaps, I just can't accept when hubby told me that he's gonna work on 26th. No 'cuti'. It's not cool. This is the year's end and lots of things to be settled e.g. sales report, summarization etc. I understand that. Hubby promised to set up the Xmas tree tomorrow, followed by Christmas shopping - just buying Gabby's stuff like garments and gifts, and collecting my tailored pants and suits at Chin Chin's Tailor.

Our budget is a bit disorganized this month, prior to the visits to both longhouses, the expenses during the trips and unplanned expenses. I must get ready by tomorrow to re-plan the budget with hubby. Some of stuff to settle, cards payment, car, bills - Astro, telephone, internet, plus Gabby school's stuff like stationeries, shoes, uniform, bag, socks, books, fees etc. They definitely gave me a headache but I try to get rid of the worries out of my head, for a while and give a smile. My dad has to undergo his eye's surgery one more time next January.

My activities during holidays:

- to clear my mails
- to wash my bedsheets and pillow casings
- to kiss Gabby and hugs her more!
- to upload more links of friends in my blog
- to cook more tasty delicacies for hubby

What else? I think that's all so far, so good.

I feel so tired tonight. It's alreay 12:21 a.m. **Yawn. Good night all.

Glitter Graphics -

Today is public holiday in Malaysia in conjunction with the Aidil Adha or Qurban's Raya. I would like to wish congratulations to my best buddy when we were in UiTM, Zizie for giving birth this afternoon. She's granted with a healthy 3.3 kgs baby boy. Can't wait to see your baby growing up and watching the football game with Andy!

We woke up late this morning and I burnt the CD for Gabby. She's the no. 1 High School Musical fan! I had to stay up late last night to download the songs/videos for her. After lunch, we went to the nearby bakery shop to buy some stuff for baking cupcakes! Yes, I have promised Gabby that she can help me to decorate the cakes.

She likes to disturb me whenever I bake so I will let her to help me this time. Anyway, I love to have her around. Normally, I spend a limited time with her because the moment I come back from my office the time is already 7:00 p.m.

My cupcakes petitin.... very ol' skool...

The preparation....

The rising cupcakes in the oven...

Hhhmm.. can u smell the vanilla scents on the air?

The what so-called decorated cupcakes, iced by hubby.

You maybe wonder where Gabriella has been huh? Well, she watched the TV and totally forgot her promise to help me. At the end, she ate the most of the cupcakes. She also packed some for her cousin, Easteralicia. My parents-in-law and Gabby are visiting them tonight and gonna have a sleepover there.

Going to work tomorrow, my last day.... can I clear up my desk?

Hopefully I can and I will... I must!! <-- motivational sound effect.

I miss Gabby's chuckles, annoying knocking on the door and her smelly hair tonight.... :( (Come on lah..she's coming home tomorrow morning what?)

Apple of the eyes for today. The antidote for my stress...

Hahahah!! Can't help to laugh at this video. Enjoy!!

I was attacked by Trojan.Win32.LinkReplacer.

I didn't want to reformat my PC, time consumption is important, man.

So I googled this morning and I found SmitFraudFix. Once downloaded, it erased the idiot Trojan straightaway.

Simple to do but it is crucial for your PC protection.

As promised, we took Gabby to a local fun fair at MJC, Bt. Kawa. We paid RM2.00 as admission and for Gabby she's only charged for RM1.00. Hubby bought few tickets for ride and the first ride that caught her attention was this so-called train.

Gabby on Tasmanian Devil's seat.

Next she tried to try the Rocket's ride. What a brave girl, she screamed in joy up there! Weehoooooo........!!!!!!!!!

We can't believe that she's got gut to ride on the Merry Go Round alone, alone OK? Not with our companion.

The possessions. Playing games at the games booths were such a waste! Minus the Santa lookalike balloon that cost me RM4.00. Bloody expensive!! By the time we have gone round the place the time struck at 9:00 p.m. Hubby took us to the nearby KFC for the lavish dinner, for Gabby. What a sweet conclusion for the exciting night together.

Haiya.. during my time where got fun fair and such?? The only amusement that we had just kampung's concert and regatta. Hahahaha!!!

Can you spot me inside this pic? Cannot??!! Just forget about it lahh..hahahhaaa..
