MY WEEKEND ROJAK'S ENTRY 1

Dear readers,

Can't read Chinese?

Well here is how the translation sounds like:

The chemical used in Pringles is also used in hair-perm chemical, a very harmful chemical even on a very insignificant quantity (will cause kidney cancer), adult shouldn't consume more than 0.01g per day while children not more than 0.003g!

Product called back from all Hong Kong markets & banned in USA.
It contains cancer causing ingredient for those who don't read Chinese!

STOP EATING PRINGLES NOW

I admit it that I'm one of the Pringles lovers in the wholewide world that are shocked when receiving an email about it. Imagine how to nice to savour the crispy Pringles with a can of Coke? Heck though, I am now announcing myself a Chachos-dip-in-Mayo lover!! Nice!

Still in shock? Well, loose your stress with this picture:

"If men got pregnant... It should be more painful than women"

Ouch!!

Haha!

I LUV MAKEUPS

Recently, I've been thinking to spice up this blog since it is being unattended for quite some times. Well, I don't know how to say this but I have to! I love makeup. Makeups makeup make up.... hmmm.. it's essential in my working life you know. Hihi...

And talking about makeup, well I admit it. I love them, be it expensive or just simple haul, I am dying to..... own... them ... all!!

So, how am I gonna start?? Hmmm.. OK. It begins like this. I will show you some of my makeup works and please forgive me for I am a beginner, I'm still green in this makeup thing. Anyway, I'm not really a person who worships big names like Stilla, M.A.C etc and I don't even have the Body Shop as a starter so what do you think? I always go for drugstore brands like Maybelline, Silkygirl and In2It for there are cheap and affordable. Somehow, I'm wearing them for work and other functions. Bear in mind that I am not a Makeup Artiste. Not artistically enough I bet.

I've got these babies from Everyday Minerals. They are eyeshadow and blusher. I love them so much when I tried it on my eyes, well the eyeshadow glides smoothly the color oh! Shimmery sheer I could say. Lovely. See my eyes as a prove.

Tadaaaaa!!!! It accomplished my brown eyes astonishingly.

So, I guess that's all for now. I'll be back with more tutorials and beautiful stories. Till then, hugs and kisses readers.

FRIDAY'S NIGHT - FAMILY MOVIE DAY

Hit the eatery place at Jalan Song after a hectic and tiring day. I need a breakaway and I need a revenge, on food! Hellow, it's not food binging but I need to comfort my head and stomach anyway we move to the pictures.

Ohhh yeahhhhh... Had some BBQ Honey Chicken Wings and Chicken Chop. The chop is very cheap! This hot plate chop is only RM8.50 but I love the way they prepare the black pepper sauce or gravy. It has slices of onions and diced apples. Can you imagine how it tastes like? Divine, I could say.

We canceled all of our plans this evening except for hubby who is very keen practicing for the upcoming gigs at Bau. We didn't even visit my parents because of.....

Yes, our bro, Dave Michels was in the telemovie, "Rejang.. Libasan Maut" at Astro Ria (Channel 104). These snapshots were taken while we were watching him. He told me before that he's gonna act as a 60-years old Dutch writer by the name of 'Konrad Omaijer' but when he appeared he was more or less like, Popeye the Sailorman with Brutus look and accomplished with thick American accent!! Well, my comment: Dude, your acting was awesome but please, don't ever stress your voice like that, you sound...... constipate! *lmao

Oh yeahhh, I did recorded his part but it was only a short one, so let us see Mr. Konrad 'Popeye' Omaijer in the telemovie!

video

Anyway the telemovie was so-so since the epic of 'Baya Rejang' was kind of unclear. First the 4 students went to a longhouse to get the story of the croc, then they met an old man named Engkiong whose cousin was accidentally killed by a Japanese soldier. Then, the poor man's soul possesed that cruel croc and the croc is believed to be the family's protector. OMG.. I don't care about the confusing plot but one thing for sure. The lovely Tasha Nordin of AF was in the telemovie too! Funny thing to see they use Sarawak's Cultural Village and surroundings plus one man's comment when he was interviewed by the students. He said...

"IYA MAKAI URANG GEMU.."

Literally means;

"IT EATS FAT PEOPLE..." Gulp.

^_^

HAHAHAA!!!!!

HALLELUJAH, IT'S FRIDAY!

Wrap up of the week is here again. Had a bowl of Kueh Chap last night, Ohhh I was craving for a bowl of it like insane since, let say since we are reaching this rainy season? Yes, a bowl of Kueh Chap is comforting for me as it will warm up your body after long, tiring cold working day. Rejuvenating!

I captured a video of Gabby. One of my obvious signatures that is inherited by my girl is my laughter!! Check this video out!

video

She was actually teasing our cat, Fiffy and heck ya, don't know what was tickling her till she had to laugh like this? Anyway, we miss her laughter when she's not around!

I guess this week I need to loose the tense at my face; so many works to do and datelines to chase!! and .. and.. our Minister of Health is visiting Sarawak on the 9th, yess on the 9th!!! On the 9th when some people are still in the mood of holidaying. I haven't filled up my leave form yet! Will be on leave from 24th December and will be rocking the office on 2nd of January.

by playing with my new golden-brown eyeshadow (again??)

p/s: Miss Chantique79, when are you gonna officiate your new set? I am waiiiting....

... Yes, another stray cat's caressing story. I stroked this cat's body this morning while having my breakfast at King Centre. She is so tame and lovely, wish that I can take her home with me but I know that my FIL and hubby will say NO.

... Jeeez.. I love cats and dogs. Don't blame me, it's in my blood... hehehee..

ASHLYN'S 1st MONTH BLESSING CEREMONY

My niece Ashlyn Cassandra is already 1 month old already!

My family decided to have a blessing ceremony for her. My parents' Bible study group were invited as well as the Supremacists (Our family lah who else... hehehee).

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls we are proudly presenting the 600gm-heavier-than-2-weeks-ago Ashlyn @ Aline.. feeewwwiitt!!! * Clap clap!!

The blessing ceremony started at 8:30 p.m. with songs of praise and worship and readings taken from the Holy Bible.

My brother Ted is playing guitar with them, you can see my sister is holding Ashlyn, the Sub Deacon is singing his heart out and clapping his hands. The last inset picture. Can you see my dad's hair and Ashlyn's hair? Hahahaha... Aline should have donated some of her hair to cover Aki's head. Hahahaha...

My blog entry is incomplete without food pictures! We had prawns, Dried beancurd in Oyster sauce, Chicken Curry, Mixed Veggies, Kachangma and porkie bones with salted veggies.

These two sweethearts, I had to 'shhhhhhhhh' them for giggling loudly while the Sub Deacon was uttering the Bible verses. OMG!... They would laugh at anything! They talked about farting, they laughed, they talked about falling down they giggled... I said to myself.. Patience Coki.. be patience...

Overall I could say, everyone seemed so happy and went home with full tummy. Oh ya, Mak also made some 'Keropok Ubi' (tapioca crackers) for the guests. They are so crunchy and tasty! Don't believe it?

Seeing is believing.. Mak gave me one bucket of this! Thanks Mak!! Love you!!

Heheeehee...

THE LIL BUDDY

he's sitting very near to us.... poor doggy...

One of my unavoidable habits is feeding the stray cats and dogs. My hubby is now kind of following what I'm doing. I even touch the stray cat at Aroma Cafe after feeding him. On Sunday, while having our lunch at King Centre, I met this buddy, big and black...

He was sleeping before a girl came and started to feed him with bones. Such an angel. Then, he woke up and walked to us. The sad face touched my heart, I gave him all my chicken bones.... he swallowed them right away!

..... Poor doggy. How come humans nowadays acting more unhumanly. I wish that I can bring him home, shower and feed him. Then I will send him to a vet.

When we walked away, he gave the saddest look watching us leaving.

... it broke my heart again...
